Continuing ZOIC Previews, 'SpinoDude' breaks down what makes Baby and Juvenile Beasts special! You can choose to armor up babies, sacrifice them as 'lythro-snacks' or even create growth chains of certain species. Check out how to play them and enhance your odds of survival on the Battlegrounds:
We have also added a new chapter to the page titled 'Previews', compiling all of these videos in one place. These will be helpful for learning how to play later on!
We are all very excited to unleash ZOIC TCG and are committed to offering the best experience possible. Spending well over a year in development, it has undergone many phases of refinement to ensure that we create an accessible, inventive, and exciting game! But the refinement phase isn't over yet.
Many of you have given great feedback, especially those within our ZOIC Community Discord channel! As such, here are a few updates and improvements you can expect to see:
THE RULEBOOK Rulebooks are one of the most pivotal components of any game. Establishing the core rules, and all the unique mechanics & nuances associated. It must be easy to read, understand, and create a quick guide to entering the Battlegrounds! As such, we are undergoing some restructuring to put 'How to Play' ahead of the card introductions and to further clarify certain verbiage.
It is important to note that the rulebook available to you all is a Preview Copy. As much as we aimed to make it complete, some level of feedback and refinement was always expected.
RARITIES & CARD DISTRIBUTION This is a tricky balancing act, and one we believe is almost solved! Behind the scenes, Ross & 'SpinoDude' have been working hard to shuffle card rarities for a more balanced experience and create a collector friendly spread.
Additionally, we have been communicating with our manufacturer about Booster Pack card assortments and our options in defining certain pull rates for final production.
Be sure to check the page regularly as 'Rarities' will be updated soon.
QUICK START GUIDE We've realized that the game presented in our Quick Start Guide video doesn't fully represent a typical ZOIC TCG game. A few oddities of that particular game include the short duration, and over-represented coin flip based attacks.

Closer to release, estimated for February 2026, we will post a newly revised Quick Start Guide video that better represents typical gameplay and improves the learning process.
With just under 2 weeks left, many exciting things can happen. As some of you may have noticed, we had a great day yesterday, propelling us even closer to unlocking Mythic Card Foil Stamping. Less than $3,000 to go!
