Hello again everyone- we hope you all are having an excellent start to your New Year! For us, it's been busier than ever with all things ZOIC, so there's much to discuss. Starting with the main news...
Production Status- New Delivery Date
As we mentioned in the previous update, game coins completed production at our main toy factory, and all design files were delivered for print last year. Unfortunately, our factory has been experiencing some internal delays and a surplus of work, which has extended their production estimate to start after Chinese New Year (the week of February 16th).
This is an unfortunate set back, as we were on track for a delivery in early March, but we feel the additional time will ensure that no part of production is shortcut by rushing.
So what's the new release date? Our factory estimates production to complete in March-April. Factoring in 4-6 weeks of transit time to the US, that means the new ZOIC delivery date is now estimated for May 2026. We know this isn't pleasant news, but we are confident in our factory's ability to produce high quality trading cards and trust them to deliver on that!
With that said, how about we look at some more exciting things...
During the campaign, we shared the deck lists for the Two Player Starter set - at the time, some artwork was incomplete and gameplay elements were still being tweaked, but now you can see them in their final form! Check them out by clicking here or on the banners below!
For anyone antsy to start playing, you can print out this document and begin your dominion on the Battlegrounds! Remember, the remaining 10 cards needed to build a legal deck are supplied in the included Booster Pack.

BackerKit Lockdown TOMORROW, Production Updates & Card Reveals!

Hi all - We hope you all are having a great holiday season! It's a very busy time of year, and we haven't slowed down a bit. There's lots to share on development and progress, but first...
For those who haven't completed their BackerKit survey, this is your reminder! The BackerKit survey lockdown is TOMORROW, DEC. 31st!
Please be sure to submit your Kickstarter surveys and preorders if you haven't done so already. As of this writing there are still 73 backers who have yet to finalize their survey, so don't forget! Even if you don't intend to add anything else, we still need your mailing address. TOMORROW, all Kickstarter surveys and preorders will be locked down and credit cards will be charged for items added post-Kickstarter. For KS backers, this is also the last chance to take advantage of the Kickstarter campaign pricing, exclusives, and bundles.
In case you haven't received your survey, please be sure to check your spam folder. And if anyone needs assistance, please direct message us, and we'll follow up as soon as possible!
All ZOIC TCG preorders will remain open until the items are in-stock, so be sure to encourage your friends to buy now before the price increases at retail!
Remember that while we expect to have additional quantities available after the preorder fulfillment, there is no guarantee on all items.
We have been very busy readying ZOIC for production and are happy to announce that everything has been delivered to the factory!
In the time since last update, we have completed all of the remaining artwork for ZOIC 1st Edition, updated the rulebook with your feedback and some improvements of our own, refined and finalized card designs, and completed production for the game coins:

We hope to share more behind-the-scenes look at production in a future update, as we're sure some of you are as fascinated by it as we are.
We are currently on track to fulfill all rewards in late February 2026, but it is possible we could see a delay to March.
ZOIC's seen the addition of a new card, thanks to our awesome ZOIC CREATOR! After weeks of designing and playtesting, we are proud to present Bruiser Beast Card, Iguanodon.
Featuring amazing artwork by Raph Lomotan, this card is a great addition to any deck!
As mentioned above, we have completed all the artwork for ZOIC 1st Edition! Here are a few of the latest reveals:
During the campaign, we teased a mystery card included with Stretch Goal Unlock - Phase 1 Holographics and this is that card! Fittingly, the third Collector Card, it features the Lizard Dragon and Tyrannosaurus Rex in combat. Using this card during battle will be very helpful in taking down Apex Beasts!
In all its glory, here is the epic Albertosaurus hunting series! Split among 3 Collector Cards are Utility Cards, Hunting Tactics and Thrill of the Hunt, and Tyrant Beast Card, Albertosaurus. You may have noticed Hunting Tactics was originally noted as a Pachyrhinosaurus Beast Card in last update, but we felt the artwork was more fitting of a Hunting Utility.

BackerKit Lockdown Extension, Pre-order Store & More

Hi all,
It has come to our attention that many of you haven't received your BackerKit survey, and after some investigating we've figured out why. For all backers who utilized Kickstarter's 'Pledge Over Time' option, your survey will be sent at a later date. BackerKit will automatically send your survey within 48 hours of your final payment on December 23rd, so no additional action is needed.
As a result, we are extending lockdown to December 31st.
What does this mean for production? We still plan to fulfill all rewards in February 2026 with no intention to delay. Since that means lockdown will occur in the middle of production, we will produce additional quantities of all campaign exclusives. If there are any leftover items, they may be made available at retail price after all rewards are shipped.
We apologize for any confusion regarding the surveys as the 'Pledge Over Time' feature is new to us and one of our projects. If anyone else has not received their survey, please be sure to check your spam folder. And if anyone needs assistance, please direct message us, and we'll follow up as soon as possible!
Pre-order Store Some of you may have also noticed that our BackerKit pre-order store is now live. For any of your friends that couldn't back in time or missed out can now pre-order ZOIC items here.
While we didn't plan to make another update so soon, we can't not share some awesome new artwork! We want to save the full art for a more dedicated reveal, so here's a sneak peek of Collector Cards, Pachyrhinosaurus and Thrill of the Hunt!

BackerKit surveys SENT! Stretch Goal UNLOCK, LegionsCon follow-up, & more!

It's time! The BackerKit surveys have all been emailed to Kickstarter backers!
For those unfamiliar with BackerKit, or even if you are, here's some info that you may find helpful:
Lockdown The lockdown date for these surveys is December 1st, 2025. What this means is that you have until then to add everything that you'd like, and no new charges will be made until the lockdown date. It is worth noting that this period is shorter compared to our previous BackerKit surveys (which would normally last several months) because we need to confirm item quantities for the fast-approaching production schedule.
Kickstarter pricing The Kickstarter pricing will remain available for backers until the Lockdown. This also includes the Gold Coin Two Player Starter and other campaign Exclusives, which will not be offered on the preorder store.
Surveys The main purpose of the BackerKit platform (not to be confused with Kickstarter or creative-beast.com) is to serve as a pledge manager where you will add your shipping address as well as any additional items that you weren't able to pledge for during the Kickstarter campaign.
Pledge Levels You also have the option to switch your pledge level by following these steps:
First, click the pledge level title on the start screen.
Then select 'Switch Pledge Levels?'
And then choose your new pledge level from the options below.
Add-ons If you pledged for add-ons during the Kickstarter, they'll be carried over to your BackerKit survey. These are locked and cannot be deleted by the user. If you need this portion edited, please send us a private message and we'll be happy to assist. Note that deleting add-ons will not earn you a refund, but only credit toward other ZOIC TCG BackerKit items.
Onto bigger news...
Phase 2 Holographic is now UNLOCKED, adding 6 new Holographic Collector Cards to 1st Edition!
Calculating in 'Late Pledges', our funding increased by almost an additional $4,000! And while that's still shy of our initial unlock goal, we're confident the difference will be made up in our preorder store.
Thank you all for sharing our project and enhancing the ZOIC TCG experience!
Making our annual attendance at LegionsCon, the team gathered to demo ZOIC, reveal new action figure prototypes, and celebrate all things Creative Beast Studio. It's always exciting to meet fans in person and this show was no exception!
While 'SpinoDude' was unable to make it out, one of our awesome painters, Matt Holt (left) filled in.
After hours, Dave Silva finally joined the Battlegrounds in an epic 3-game tournament! Commanding a Cyberzoic deck, he won 2 of the 3 games, even summoning the Saberbeast Champion on his second turn - the fastest it's ever been done! It's safe to say Dave may have a knack for TCG's...
Big 'thank you' to everyone who made it out to see us! It was great seeing familiar faces and making new fans along the way.

It's worth noting that we are still working out photography for that white space.

Some of you may also be wondering how progress is going with our ZOIC Creator and his unique new card! It is a little early to show off a final card, but we are happy to reveal that ZOIC TCG will now debut with a new species; Bruiser Beast, Iguanodon bernissartensis! With colors loosely inspired by the yellow-backed spiny lizard, we settled on this awesome design:
Card art is underway with playtesting happening now! Without a doubt, this will be a great addition to the base game. Stay tuned for more to come...

Hello everyone! The entire team, including David Silva, Ross Persichetti, Chris 'Chaotic' Albers, and David 'SpinoDude' Breguet want to say a big THANK YOU for bringing our ZOIC Trading Card Game to life! Reaching 423% funded, we're all so thrilled with the support and enthusiasm for our project. As such, we want to share a special message from the dev team:
WE DID IT! Through the last 30 days, we not only funded the base game, but also enhanced it with several AWESOME Stretch Goals!
And while we didn't quite reach Phase 2 Holographic during the campaign, we are inching closer everyday with the addition of Kickstarter's newest feature, late pledges! For those of you who have friends or family that missed out, encourage them to back now and lock in those last-minute exclusives!
We're also bound to see an increase through BackerKit, which leads us right into what's next...
If you're not familiar with how the BackerKit survey works, below answers some of the most commonly asked questions:
-Will I be able to add items after the Kickstarter?
Absolutely. You'll be able to add anything from the campaign with the BackerKit survey.
-When will the BackerKit surveys go out and what is it?
The BackerKit surveys are part of a pledge manager service hosted by BackerKit (which is not owned by Kickstarter) and will be emailed to you shortly after the campaign ends. These surveys not only allow you to add additional items and switch pledge levels, but this is also where you'll add your mailing address. Note that you can only add to your pledge- switching to a lower priced tier will only give you more credit for add-ons, but not a refund.
- How long do I have to finalize my BackerKit survey
The BackerKit survey 'lock down' date hasn't been determined just yet as we are still finalizing details for production. Though, lock down will likely occur sometime late November.
-When will I be charged for the additional items?
Your pledge credit will be automatically transferred to your survey from Kickstarter, but any additional purchases will not be charged until the lock down (estimated for November 2025). Please note that you'll need to re-enter your payment information for any additional items not covered by your Kickstarter credit.
-Will the items be available outside of the BackerKit survey?
After the BackerKit lock down, we will post the preorders for all non-exclusive items on creative-beast.com. This includes Two Player Starter (standard release vers.), Booster Boxes & Packs, Deluxe Game Mats and ZOIC Card Binders.
-Will I be able to add additional items to my BackerKit survey after the lockdown?
Yes, but this can only be done by request and the items will be subject to the preorder pricing by that point. Any shipping discount in this case would be based on location.
For those in the New Jersey area, it's almost time for our annual appearance at LegionsCon! The event is the weekend of Nov. 7-9 at the Hanover Marriot in Whippany, NJ. Click here for more info on this show!
We will have our usual action figure offerings, including the debut of our first armors and riders as part of Wave A2, AND some prototype ZOIC cards! If you're in attendance, come by our booth and get an early chance to battle it out with one of us!
