Production Status & Delivery Delay

Hi all - We hope everyone's enjoying their last days of summer! As of late, we've been hard-at-work on all things ZOIC 1st edition and beyond, but we do have unfortunate news.
We were hoping to write that all items were complete with shipping to our US warehouse already underway, but we must delay delivery of all rewards to a later date.
After much time, our manufacturing partners provided us with a batch of production samples for review, and they did not fully meet the quality and standards we expect of our products. We'll take a closer look at these items and their details in this update, but for now...
Given the circumstances, the new delivery date is TBD.
First up, here's a look at our ZOIC Card Binder. While this copy lacks the additional oversized-card pages, all other details and features reflect the final production version. With that said, we are extremely pleased with this binder.
The exterior cover is made from a padded, smooth-touch, water-resistant PU material that feels very high quality. The colors are bold with clear print quality.
The interior contains 20 acid-free, side loading card pages, with enough space to hold all ZOIC and Token cards with plenty room for more.
We also designed a custom interior pocket to store any ZOIC game materials such as counters, coins, paper game mats, and your rulebook.
To ensure that your cards and game materials are well protected, we had an elastic strap sewn in. The binders are expected to finish production next week!
Deluxe Game Mat
We recently approved the production sample for our Deluxe Game Mat, but improvements are being made to its packaging.
The Game Mat, measuring an impressive 28"x14" captures Raph Lomotan's artwork beautifully. The colors are bright and details are clear.
This particular mat has already seen its fair bit of use during our playtesting tournaments, and it is holding up very well.
The mat will be delivered in custom packaging as seen here, but on this sample, the colors do not match our final design and the paper stock used is too flimsy. Some of you sharp eyed backers may notice some creasing and tearing evident - we will improve this for final production.

Moving along, here are some sample cards:
While it was very exciting to finally hold real ZOIC cards, the colors don't fully match our design files, lacking vibrancy as seen here (the green dot marks the factory sample):
While subtle, and to some, hardly noticeable, the color discrepancy makes the artwork appear slightly cloudy.
Additionally, the paper type is different from the one chosen for production, giving the cards a flimsy, cheap feeling. We believe the physical quality of the cards must be held to the highest standard so that they are both durable and visually appealing. While these samples don't reach that standard, we will ensure that the one's delivered to your doorstep do!

Obviously, these hot pink cards are samples of whatever the factory had on hand, but they do help to communicate how well the cards will display in the packaging window!
As a reminder, here is a mockup of how the final Two Player Starter is intended to appear:
The packaging interior will have a paper insert printed in lime green, fitting of the ZOIC brand, and behind the plastic tray will feature all other box contents, like...
Our pocket-sized rulebook...
Two sets of game counters! One thing to note; this copy has not been die-cut yet. The final version will be 'punch-out' counter pieces to be used during gameplay.
And the 2 paper game mats! We are working to choose a better paper material for these game mats as, seen in these samples, they don't fold very well. We are also dealing with color issues here too (the factory sample is once again, marked with a green dot).
While it disheartens us to share shortcomings in production/delivery, we consistently aim to maintain an honest and transparent relationship with you. We stand by our decision to always place quality over speed, as we have done with every project in the past; These circumstances are unfortunately one of those necessary setbacks to make sure we can deliver the best rewards possible.
We remain very appreciative of your patience, support and feedback. As production continues, and we receive more information from the factory, we will update you all, getting us steps closer to the official launch of ZOIC TCG!
Last month, we returned from our most popular show of the year, G-fest, and it was undoubtedly the best show we've ever had the pleasure to attend! We reunited with familiar faces who play tested a beta version of ZOIC last year and battled against so many new fans!

Production Updates!

Hello again everyone, and Happy Summer! It's been some time since our last update, but much progress has been made! We're excited to share the latest and greatest in ZOIC TCG, but first, let's get a few messages out of the way.
If you're not already, follow us on Instagram! We share new cards every week leading up to our game's official debut! You can get early access to play styles, card abilities, and more to ready your ZOIC Battleground strategies! Join us and spread the word to other fellow Dinosaur and TCG friends.
We're inching closer to release, so that means we need to know where to ship your rewards! For those of you that may have moved or have a new shipping address since completing your BackerKit surveys, please reach out to us so that we can update this for you.
With that said, let's dive in and review production status of ZOIC TCG!
In last update, we shared that production was to be completed by mid-summer with a delivery date towards the end of summer. We're excited to say that we're on track and in line with that estimate, with nearly all items complete. Fulfilment is expected to happen in September.
The factory has informed us that the cards are printed, currently being cut and sorted into their shiny foil packs! Here's a look at some of those heaping stacks of uncut sheets:
We also have a preview of the Deluxe Game Mat! Measuring 14" x 28", with a premium stitched edge and non-slip back, this will be perfect for gameplay, use as a desk mat, or mousepad. If you missed out during the campaign, make sure to get yours through our pre-order store.
Our first printed sample of the rulebook has been made! While the final version's interior pages will be matte laminated instead of gloss, the print quality and assembly here look great! Click the link below to view:
Here's a look at a plastic insert tray for the Two Player Starter set. This has been a tricky component for the factory since it's custom, designed specifically for our coin, cards, and other contents. They are still working to get this part just right.
We also added a few custom pages to the Card Binder that will fit oversized cards. Now those early Beasts of the Mesozoic Token cards fit alongside the rest of your collection.
As production continues and we receive samples in the mail, you can expect another update from us with a closer look at those other items.
We've also recently returned from our trips to Houston's Comicpalooza,Ishcon in North Carolina, and Georgia's JoeFest! All three shows were an amazing time, getting to have fun with friends, fans, and more. Thank you to those who were able to make it out and play ZOIC with us!
Plenty of late-night games were played, but this is the only photo we have. Chris 'Chaotic' definitely didn't win any... no proof of it anyway!

Not every Beast is all-powerful, but this one has its strengths in the right hands.
Showcasing the artwork of one of the art competition winners and having a great effect, Beast Thief is a MUST HAVE.
Every action has a reaction, and Chains of Vengeance is one of those.

Production Status Update, Awesome Gameplay & More

Hello everyone! It has been some time since our last update and in that gap, we've been very busy monitoring progress with our factory and hard at work developing the upcoming ZOIC expansion set - more on that later!
At this time, we were hoping to announce that all items were due for arrival at port within weeks, but we're unfortunately still experiencing delays at our factory with some items yet to be completed. This is unfortunate news, as we're very excited to share ZOIC with you all, but that will have to wait just a bit longer...
So what's the new release date? Our factory plans to have Two Player Starter box samples to review next month with the other items nearing completion soon. Provided that the samples are approved, we can expect to see production finished in mid-summer. There will be 4-6 weeks of transit time to the US after that, with fulfilment beginning once it reaches our warehouse. It is possible that we can shorten transit time, but we won't know until we have final pallet weight and sizes.
That means the new ZOIC delivery date is now estimated for late Summer 2026. We know this isn't pleasant news, but we remain confident in our factory's ability to produce high quality trading cards!
In our last update, we shared an updated look at our Starter Decks with printable PDF files to print-and-play at home! We hope you all have been enjoying these cards and for those that missed it, click here or the image above to download your copy now! Remember, the remaining 10 cards needed to build a legal deck are supplied in the included Booster Pack.

New Delivery Estimate, Updated Deck Lists, Final Rulebook & More!

Hello again everyone- we hope you all are having an excellent start to your New Year! For us, it's been busier than ever with all things ZOIC, so there's much to discuss. Starting with the main news...
Production Status- New Delivery Date
As we mentioned in the previous update, game coins completed production at our main toy factory, and all design files were delivered for print last year. Unfortunately, our factory has been experiencing some internal delays and a surplus of work, which has extended their production estimate to start after Chinese New Year (the week of February 16th).
This is an unfortunate set back, as we were on track for a delivery in early March, but we feel the additional time will ensure that no part of production is shortcut by rushing.
So what's the new release date? Our factory estimates production to complete in March-April. Factoring in 4-6 weeks of transit time to the US, that means the new ZOIC delivery date is now estimated for May 2026. We know this isn't pleasant news, but we are confident in our factory's ability to produce high quality trading cards and trust them to deliver on that!
With that said, how about we look at some more exciting things...
During the campaign, we shared the deck lists for the Two Player Starter set - at the time, some artwork was incomplete and gameplay elements were still being tweaked, but now you can see them in their final form! Check them out by clicking here or on the banners below!
For anyone antsy to start playing, you can print out this document and begin your dominion on the Battlegrounds! Remember, the remaining 10 cards needed to build a legal deck are supplied in the included Booster Pack.

For those who haven't completed their BackerKit survey, this is your reminder! The BackerKit survey lockdown is TOMORROW, DEC. 31st!
Please be sure to submit your Kickstarter surveys and preorders if you haven't done so already. As of this writing there are still 73 backers who have yet to finalize their survey, so don't forget! Even if you don't intend to add anything else, we still need your mailing address. TOMORROW, all Kickstarter surveys and preorders will be locked down and credit cards will be charged for items added post-Kickstarter. For KS backers, this is also the last chance to take advantage of the Kickstarter campaign pricing, exclusives, and bundles.

We are currently on track to fulfill all rewards in late February 2026, but it is possible we could see a delay to March.
ZOIC's seen the addition of a new card, thanks to our awesome ZOIC CREATOR! After weeks of designing and playtesting, we are proud to present Bruiser Beast Card, Iguanodon.
Featuring amazing artwork by Raph Lomotan, this card is a great addition to any deck!
As mentioned above, we have completed all the artwork for ZOIC 1st Edition! Here are a few of the latest reveals:
During the campaign, we teased a mystery card included with Stretch Goal Unlock - Phase 1 Holographics and this is that card! Fittingly, the third Collector Card, it features the Lizard Dragon and Tyrannosaurus Rex in combat. Using this card during battle will be very helpful in taking down Apex Beasts!
In all its glory, here is the epic Albertosaurus hunting series! Split among 3 Collector Cards are Utility Cards, Hunting Tactics and Thrill of the Hunt, and Tyrant Beast Card, Albertosaurus. You may have noticed Hunting Tactics was originally noted as a Pachyrhinosaurus Beast Card in last update, but we felt the artwork was more fitting of a Hunting Utility.
Whether you're setting up a surprise counterattack or surviving a critical turn, this Utility card can completely shift the momentum of the battlegrounds!
